shortening silencer questions.

does it give more power?

if i shorten my pro circuit is it ok if i only have the bottom mount holdind it on, you can only shorten a pc a 1/4in. before your cutting into the top mount. and i want to get her prety short.

it adds zero power, i owuld only do it if you ahve an FMF, the reasions ppl do it is because te FMF's stick out the back, and ppl dont wanna brake them so they shorten them, and jus tleave your pro circut as it is or it will end up sounding like a chain saw...
