well ive heard ppl talking about tors i know its on top of the carb but what does it do whats its purpess?

throttle override system. on the stock system when the throttle gets stuck it shuts off the motor.

anybody rider with common sense would just pull in the clutch and stop

Yes and sometimes it does it if you hold your quad at top speed too long it would do it which is crap

Yeah, they sell a kit to get rid of it but I wouldnt suggest going out of my way just to take it off....
