It's really not that big of a deal, somebody with a few resources and have access to a lath and a grams/ounch scale can easily do this mod and save theirselves a few dollars.
The most important note is that in the midle of the flywheel there are two mounting screws holding and screwed into each of the magnets on the flywheel.
You will need to cut/turn the flywheel up to the screws on each side leaving a "band" around the flywheel screw area.
For ease I used the flywheel puller as the "Arbor" and chucked it in the lath and dial indicated the flywheel in.
before I chucked it in the lath I weighed the flywheel with the flywheel puller screwed in on a grams/ounces scale for ref weight
I made several passes than unchucked the flywheel and checked the weight, In my case I quessed it right n the money the first pass and left it at that For trail riding your gonna want to take off around 5 to 7 ounces max. Generally the racers may take off 10
As long as you follow this you wont need to balance it, the most important thing is to dial it in and take off the material square.
Note:
I recently made an arbor for the flywheel on the lath and gave it to the machine shop/auto teacher at my son's school and gave him the proper weight to remove for trail/mxing and he know helps the kids at school and they do their own blaster flywheels, right their in auto mechanics class.
Also I have given him the correct measurements and instructions to mill and rechamber the blaster heads by making a shaping tool and providing him the proper measurements and instructed him how to use a burrett for cc volume .
He not only helps all the kids with blaster he has made it a class project in doing them also. And the next step they are goning to port/polish and deck/bore a blaster cylinder to some specs I give them and then assemble it as a class project

I went kartracers route and used the puller as the arbor. By using the scale, we removed 8.12 oz. I woiuld like to thank everyone for the good tips!

congradulations,
I always encourage people do do as much of their own work as they can. Ocassionally you may screw up or make a mistake but big deal, the knowledge that you gain and learn is well worth it.
I personally am a die hard DIY person, the real enjoyment of improving your quad or whatever is knowing that "you" made the mods and improvement. There is no challenge in "bolting on" and "buying" some builders improvment. I get a bit discusted with all the "builder groupies" types.
You have seperated your-self from all the people on this thread that said " OMFG, you have to let my motor GOD do that for you" yea whatever, gag me with a spoon. You will be happy with the mod and be sure to tell evryone how it worked well for you

Im talking of anybody that thinks this sort of mod is "rocket science" and the only capable person is someone who builds blaster motors. And those who discourage others from broadening their knowledge & ability by wanting to do it themselves. These types of task are taught in high school machine shop
