omg dude you just said you will need to open your head. rechambering was the entire discussion on here. you can't ignore people on a help forum and then say what they just said. your stock head will work like you said you just need to rechamber it....THEN MILL THE DAMN THING!!!!!

Not trying to get involved in this battle, but unless the kit is designed to run with the stock head by using a thicker base gasket or a flatter profile piston (dome) it will hit the stock 200cc head. The edge of the piston isn't the problem, but 2mm from the outer edge of the piston is. The dome starts risign towards the center of the piston and will come in contact with the edge of the 200cc chamber. I have had many customers bring in there bikes with this exact same problem...piston to head issues!
Besides that the squish band is so screwed up using a 68mm profile on a 72mm piston. You have 2mm of flat surface all the way around before you even get to the stock 68mm profile. There is alot of power to be gained if you mill and rechamber the head to specs designed for the piston you are running.
Just my 2 cents.

hnaoutlaw:
why dont u send the head to someone that knows what their doing instead of trying to half ass something, i really doubt u will achieve 200 psi with the stock chamber because u arent going to be able to mill that much off due to the 72mm piston and the 66mm wide chamber.

just finished the head tongiht, took 0.028 off the head.Had to open the chamber up alittle but bolted it on and got about 170psi.....Ran some 93?110 mix in it for awhile gave it alittle more low end grunt, helped the rpms to drop alittle quicker.....Got my water cooled head today.I can take alot more out of that cause i have more tools for aluminum materials..Will post the compression test with my other head as soon as i cut it...... just for anyone who cares
