its a STOCK head straight off a 200cc blaster.Im putting it on my 240 KIT,how much can i mill off it

why r you puttin a stock head on your 240 kit. my vito's 240 kit came with a 240 head to go with the cylinder.

thats the only head i have left,my vitos head is on my other motor.....soon to be getting a water cooled head...!!!

you dont have to have it milled, milling mkes it sit lower not wide for the bigger piston. Im sure its the same as any other head mod. check around for prices.
and on that water cooled head are you getting the cylinder/bottom end and everything?

It will probably be just a water cooled head, ive seen a couple of those,

I know the stock head will work wirth a 240,i just needed to know how much i can take off of it to get more compression and be safe.On the water cooled head i should have it like wed or thurs,they say you dont need a water pump to use this because it uses thermo syphoning,im going to try to get a pump and cover from a dt200 so i can actually flow the water...Im not to sure about the thermo syphoning deal.

A stock head dome wont work with a 240cc cylinder/piston. it will need to be rechamberd. and if you wanna get it milled, tell whoever does it to mill it for whatever octane fuel you want to run.

a stock head works will work with a 240....Im going to cut the head down myself,i need to know how many thousanths to take off....

huh? a stock 200cc head wont work with a 240 bore. the piston would hit the head. It iwll need to be rechambered and milled. but if you wanna go ahead ado mess it up, you can mill it with the stock chamber .035ths over and still run pump gas.

is it a resleeved cylinder or stock cylinder bored .040ths over? and a stock head can be used AFTER its rechambed for the 240  |

look i have run a bone stock head on one of my 240 SLEEVES,(stock cylinder,jug what ever you want to call it/240 sleeve) i ran it for atleast a year with piston clearance so do tell me it wont work.....0.040 wouldnt even come close to making it 240 anyways...
