You dont have too get it shaved for high compression.. But no doubt you want it rechambered. It would be like this: ___ ___/ \___ | | When you would want it rechambered to be: _____ __/ \___ | |

you dont need it milled you need it rechambered so the whole dome is the same width as the bore.

rechambering is normally like 75-100$ They'll ask you differnet things...almost every engine builder does them..who ever is doing your 240 most likely will do head shit too.

you only get the head with there whole cylinder kit, not just the slevve kit. and like they have said you dont got to have it milled just rechambered for the added piston size. only thing milling would do is make more compression.

I'm gonna disagree, yes ya need to mill the stock head as well as rechamber it. A stock head would give you around a 3mm lip around the larger bore and the squish band entirly inapropriatey located. The stock head has an uneven squish band or "lopsided" for better terms and around 20 plus degree of squish angle. And the combustion chamber needs to be reshaped and cc'd proprly for the larger bore.
