I'm looking for a 240 kit. So far my mods are: Toomey exhaust, V-Force reeds,Vito's degree key, and 14/38 sprockets. Which 240 kit runs hard and reliable???

just wondering...how does the toomey kit run..is it louder?...do u get alot of power gain?...is it easy to put all the parts in?...reply soon

it sounds nice, has a distinct tone. smokes my brothers' FMF Fatty!!!! easy install takes about 1hr. comes with everything, filter,main jet, and great instructions!! Buy it!!

they have alot of 240 kits out there,
some of the best are
ctracing 240 kit, or sonic kit "which comes with pipe an carb"
vitos 240 kit "comes with new cylinder and head and pistons, great for the price"
hollywood bore kit" comes with a ported cylinder and head and piston.
thats about it.....
I reccomend the vitos or hdp kit because the price is good.

yeh vitos rocks, everyone compalins about how there intakes arent ported well.
but theres a reason for that, the reeds dont alow that mcuh mixture to go through so why make the itnakes bigger?
they do have boosts ports though,
it has an awsome exhasut port "triple port"
thats where the vitos gets all the power from.

My local atv shop keeps recommending the Vito's one for the cost and two he says they run cooler. I am leaning towards the Vito's. Any input on the Hollywood Dirt Productions?? The machining is a work of art!!!!!

OMG...alright first thing why would almost every engine builder out there open up the intake windows, DUH....theres a reason for it because more air can get through it, I mean come on use your head, 4 of the most knowledgable people I know open up the windows CPCustoms, HWD, Macdizzy, and YFS101 at BHQ..
Please don't say things you don't know..
The vitos 240 is worthless unless you get it ported, end of line..Its dumb to buy a vitos cylinder then port it because it would end up costing 800 bucks and buy then you can buy a CT kit and get a totally different design head and cylinder and a CR250 intake design that comes with the reed block and reeds..
The CT240 kit is the best kit out there I think..

what does everybody think about the LRD 240 kit? i havr thier pipe and was ging to get thier 340 kit to race the gncc's

and there pipe the vitos 240 pipe aka fat basterd and there 34 carb will make there 240 kit run like a friggan animal   |
