Most people reccomend a long rod with a stroker for reliability.

How do they compare performance wise??? The 240 should have a little more kick to it.

I've been running a 3mm stroker for like 2 full race seasons now and have had no problems at all... seriously. At first you would think it would wear fast, but it actually works fine.. if it's done right. We have a few size stroker engines, all done by Diamond Racing, and they've all held up. (2 full race seasons is about 40 races, all the practice and testing, and letting other ppl try it for some races.)

If you're wanting to do a stroker yourself, you would have to buy the actual stroker crank, we can get those for you, then you have to machine your cases, etc. we recommend new crank seals/bearings too. If you think you can do it yourself, then that's fine, but we always recommend having it done by a professional that's been doing it for years. If you have some questions, look up Diamond Racing at www.diamondracingatv.com. I think the site is outdated, but at least you can get the phone number.
