right now i have 13/42 sprockets becasue when i had the toomey it needed that. now with the lrd its all low end and i need to get some top back
i was thinking 13/39 or 13/38
any suggestions?

i would go with 13/38 if you have 20' tire in the rear  |

yup they always said its best to change the rear sprocket, and 13/38 still won't be a 14t front sprocket but it will give you some top end back.

i use 14\39 gearing and i have 18 inch rear tires since i got a lot of low end porew from a reed spacer and boost bottle

it gives me a good exellent top end power and gobs of mid and low
