for race gas, you need to use the LOWEST octane you can w/o your motor running screwy. forgot the exact reason, but if your motor dosent knock w/97 octane pump gas, then your blowing your money on the good stuff. for oil, i would go with 40:1

torco 110 race gas mixed 40:1 with amsoil this is what my piston looked like after 4 months of hard riding. (just tore it down to inspect it) and a built engine also.

On a stock motor you don't need to run race gas. It's necessary for high compression engines. If your not going to raise the compression it will just burn a hole in your wallet. I have used maxima super m and (castor 927only in the summer -cold weather it seperates) smells good too. I premix it 32:1 with 50/50 mixture of turbo blue and 93 pump gas save's you some money. You'll get alot of diff. options but this has worked for me through the years.

(that is assuming you have stock port heights, no cylinder deck work, or base plate spacer, and original thickness head and base gaskets. and stock shaped cumbustion chamber.) anything over 160lbs you will need to run a 50/50 mix, or straight race gas. the engine will also run cooler with a good race gas.

yea, race gas isnt necessary on teh stock engine although its not going ot be bad for it, its just not needed, and i belive it costs more anyway, so unless u have a rebuilt motor with higher ocmpression dont even bother with race gas
