I just bought a new 30mm pwk d slide carb w/ clamp on k&n and when i put it on it wouldnt start, so sprayed starter fluid into the filter. It started finally, but ran wide open till the fluid ran out then died, and im getting gas, spark, and air so i dont know what the problem is. It has a 155 main and a 40 pilot, any suggestions?

it sounds like your not getting gas from the bowl if it ran on starter fluid then died. i'd use wd40 in place of starter fluid in a 2 stroke.

i checked in the bowl for blockage possible, and it was clear of any debri. It had gas in it also....

first of all your main jet is WAY 2 small at 155 i have a 340 in mine but i got a 35 air stryker in it so.....
