please post on your results! I have the pd2 and it cooks i beat my friends piped 400ex all the time he gets so pissed. also you might wanna get a swing arm ext. youll be on you ass alot without it! i lift the wheel all the way through 4th gear all gas no problem and i have a +4...its not your average run of the mill hack port work. marc is a top notch porter and takes alot of time and research in his work. if you need help dont be afraid to ask. good luck! by the way.....check out my bike in the pic section!.............X...................

Well I've pretty much got her back together, don't think she's running right yet though as I've only got the stock carb on her and she doesn't seem to fast, at least not fast enough to beat any 400's yet, hey XLEON what carb are you running, for some reason I don't see that making a huge amount of power increase, I guess my next steps are to go ahead and buy the PWK33 and then the FMF Q silencer and hope that open's her up to the power I'm looking for?

loose that fmf its not made for port work p/bs pipe is really good! kurt will hook you up cheap! as for a carb 33mm will be great or have the stock riffled to 30 work very good too. make sure your jetting is right too!

i also recommend a flywheel service! makes the power band come on faster and harder

Dont say that bs bout pipes are made for portwork ect. You do the port work accoding to everything else. not vice versa. If you talk to your builder they will ask you Intake setup, Pipe, ect. so then they port to that.

I do have the 8oz. flywheel on her right now, I'm kinda worried now though cause I took her for a 5-10 min. spin and I hear some pinging noises coming from the top end every once and awhile, I'm not messing around with that detination cause that's how the first motor went. The reason I was thinking about going FMF is cause I need something really quite. I'm premixing it 36:1 right now too so I now the gas isn't to lean? I also have a Mikuni VM32 round slide carb I wish I could tune cause I think that would be perfect, but I tried that yesterday and couldn't even get her to come into the powerband? Wish I knew how to tune a carb???

Well I did a little research and I think the niose I'm hearing is my bottom end bearings gone bad, I heard if you have the slightest bit of play on the fly wheel then the bearings in the case need to be replaced, luckly I have a spare good bottom end that will be getting put end tomarrow and the other I guess is going back to Marc for a long rod and new bearings and seals. Hopefully I can get the jetting and carb problems figured out cause she sure as hell isn't pulling any wheelies through 3rd, though she is extended +4. I'll keep yall up to date, wish me luck!

Yeah, unfortunantly I am coming to that conclusion Marc, it looks like even my local dealer can't figure out how to get me the stock jetting on that Mikuni, if I at least had the stock needle on her then I could have somewhere to start but I don't so it looks like I'm going to be running the stocker for a bit till I can afford to get the PWK. Sucks cause I'm really trying to feel what that 1st through 3rd gear wheeling feels like, and my buddy with the 400 is consistantly on my case talking ish! Okay well I will halla back. ~B
