If you're going to get the 200cc National Kit for MX, I wouldn't get a 35mm carb, I'd stick with the CPW 30mm. It works better and gives you better grunt out of corners. Bigger isn't always better. Yes the 200cc National is basically the same as the new Diamond cylinder kit coming out, but it's not aluminum.

an amazing port and polish job, head work, etc. The National kit comes w/ the piston and gaskets too. Ricky Stair just won the 2004 Youth Production AMA Grand National Championship using Diamond Racing engine work.

what if i just kept the stock jet and moved the clip on the needle down to the 3rd or 4th groove? I cant get a bigger jet now because all the shops are closed and i have a race but all i want to do is run one race like that then i will have a new jet in it thursday

I cant get a bigger jet now because all the shops are closed and i have a race but all i want to do is run one race like that then i will have a new jet in it thursday That wont help because the needle clip position is only responsible for the fuel supply from 1/4-3/4 throttle. The main jet is what controls the fuel supply from 3/4-full throttle. Youll be running your bike lean and risking the health of your top end. Its not worth it! Just be patient and wait until you can get some bigger mains to properly dial in your bikes jetting.

when checking in to engine make sure to ask what the rear wheel hp is. Crank shaft hp is approx. 15% more than rear wheel hp. I try to stick with rear wheel hp becuase that is what you race with. I will post a dyno chart of a 240 big bore blaster and trx 250r rated in rear wheel hp.
