What kind of carb would be good with this setup. Im looking to get more power out of the carb. Thanks

Stage II porting and shaved head.....I have to run ras gas
Bored
Weisco piston & rings
Boysen reeds
Reed spacer
K&N air filter
FMF fatty pipe and power core II silencer

In all my years of having ported Blaster motors I have tried the stock carb, stock carb bored, stock carb riffled, Mikuni 28mm flatside carb, Keihin 28mm PWK, Trenga 30mm carb, Keihin 34mm PJ, Keihin 33mm PWK, Keihin 33mm PWK riffled, Keihin 35mm A/S, and I have found that on a stock bore ported motor that the riffled Keihin 33mm PWK performs and feels the best.
However on a ported 240big bore motor the Keihin 35mm A/S carb is the best. Unless its the CT sonic kit then you can go bigger.

33PWK is a great carb. And its pretty easy to work with.

Yea I agree! Its never taken me longer than 15-20 minutes to jet a PWK..

ive hear good things bout the 33 carb too that it works good with ports

Thanks for the help. I also found out that going with a bigger carb like 33 or 34 will give me more top end which is what im looking for.  |
