Check out rockymountian atv they carry anything ya need basically u can find the outwears on there website wow i didnt know yamaha sat at the factory and figured in elevation and temp on every single blaster they sell so they can jet it according to where its going yamaha dealers dont even offer to rejet from the way it comes from the factory ,sure they include a extra jet but they aint installing it for ya,but whatta i know i just bought a blaster But being you know it all about blasters ill take your word for it opposed to my own experiance with toomeys on a blaster ,my 16 plus years of working on dirtbikes jetting them doing all my own work restoring bikes and trikes and what not and what toomey told me directly I tell you what, take a Blaster from out here that comes stock with a 230 main jet and try to run that out in California at sea level and tell me how long your engine lasts lol. If you knew even half about jetting what you think you know you would realize that elevation plays a huge role in jetting a bike. The higher the location the thinner the air. The lower the location the richer the air is in oxygen molocules. But hey, what do I know? I only wrenched for R n S Yamaha and Bobby Js Yamaha out here for 6 years lol. Hell, im only going on my 8th fully built Blaster motor in 3 years hehhehheh. Not to mention all of the other bikes ive owned. And Toomey can tell you whatever they want lol, fact of the matter is, is that the only reason that they send a friggen 310 main jet along with their pipes is to cover their ass against damaging anyones motor due to a lean condition. Pretty smart if you think about it though, because I dont give a chit where your at, with a 310 main jet on a stock ported motor you will never be lean lol... But thats neither hear nor there, your problem isnt with my information, its with me personally. With that being said I recommend that you have just a tad bit of respect for Kurt and his board and save your hostility for PMs or your famous little e-mails lol.. Thats it for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont flatter yourself lol.. And what does wrenching, assembly, and maintenancing bikes have to do with knowing how to port a motor? Most Yamaha certified techs DO NOT know how to port a motor.. Once again, you only know half of what you think.
BTW, whos stalking who lol? I have been a member on this board since it was created. You didnt start coming around until you got into cahoots with CP customs and started sporting a full 1 page size "CP Customs" banner in your sig lol...
You might be a snake but your not as slick as you think you are. I can see through you like a cheap single pane window lol... Hell, not even I go around on this board with that kind of disrespect. I know Kurt makes his living off of the products and services that he sells on here and I respect it.
Why dont you try and do the same. You dont think that people know that the only reason that you post here is so that you can spread that big azz CP Customs banner around lol...
Im done with this, have the last word if you like but thats it outta me.

actually the criminal guy is right. Not very many people jet that fat for a toomey. It does have alot to do with the elevation you are in. Most of the blasters I have jet in my area have run a 270 or 280 main and even with that have been a bit fat on the main jet. The other thing is you might want to up the pilot. When people install pipes they usually overlook the pilot. The pilot controls Idle-1/4 throttle. If you are loosing low end or even throttle response then thats a good place to look. Just trying to help.

Ohio, id try a 280 first. And make sure that you oil the heck out of that filter too. All it takes if for a single grain of sand to get in there and you can kiss your top end good bye..

it might be a good idea to have somebody take a look at it. Jetting questions are always tough to answer because we can't actually see, hear, ride, your blaster. if you would rather talk to somebody directly you can call our shop also, the number is plastered over this site.
