hollywood dirt 240

Ive seen the hollywood dirt 240 kits and they seem very good. for 550$ it is hard to find a ported and polished cylinder for a better deal. i was wanting to know if anyone has heard anything about these kits.

sure its a good motor, the best 240 kit out there for the money..

do the diamond racing 240 kits come ported and polished? or any other kits VCA sells? i really would rather not ship something like that cross country that costs that much. if it were screwed up or missing parts,id have to wait weeks for replacements when i live roughly 1 1/2 hrs from VCA. if i do get a 240 kit i want it ported and polished while my engine is torn apart.

the diamond kit is ported..

For the Hollywood kit you don't send in your cylinder you call him up, email whatever, and he sends you the kit after you send the money.

The best 240 kit out there I would have to say is the CT sonic kit, but its pricey..Projectblaster sells those as well..

if you only live that far, you could just meet me somewhere and I can pick it up, or travel to a race we're at.... intersted? just e-mail or PM me and we could work something out.

Diamond just won another AMA Championship with Rick Stair taking the Youth Production class this year. That's like 3 championships in 5 years. So it's great work, but it's all custom. If you want your blaster to go fast, you're going to have to give them the cylinder to work on.

yea the CT Kit is awesome, and you get a whole new cylinder too, so maybe you should consider that too.

if i buy any 240 kit, i want the whole cylinder. id just like to get it, put it on without waiting for it to be sleeced and bored out. id really like to get the CT kits, but i dont have that much money. Which races will you be at this summer kurt?

also i want one that is port and polished while i have the engine torn down, cause i think itd be a waste of money not to when i have the oppritunity.

then the CT kit is what you'll want. It's a ported box cylinder kit.

I'll be all over Ohio, and some in PA like Rausch Creek, etc.

how much are they? will these be good for woods riding? Are the vitos kits any good and are they port & polished? Are you going to Reno Raceway in reno ohio?thanks for your help

no no dont get the vitos there bad and therenoteen ported! it give u like 2 HP

blaster07, i think the kit that VCA sells from vitos is ported, not sure though. if it was itd be probably what id get or a diamond racing 240

yes vitos says there ported but there wrong, its false advertising..The cylinders are ported to a very minium extent that you can bairly tell..This will give you like 2hp as said..But if you get it ported correctly you'll gain alot of HP..

The best 240 kit out there for the price is the Hollywood kit hands down..If I had the money I would get the CT kit..
