im looking in to getting a wiseco piston for my 03 blaster. would i have to get the sleeve honed out? i would be getting one for stock bore size. will this work well with V-force reeds ?(i plan to get them in future)any help would be great

no, you dont need to get your cylinder honed, the V force reeds should work good, like they always do

so the piston will be a "bolt in" or will i have to file the rings,or anything else besides just installing it?

yup just put the rings on and then the circlips

thanks for the help. i should be able to do it then at my house. ive been helpin my brother put a 44o kit in his 400ex and this should be much easier. By the way, are there any other pistons that will give more power than a wiseco??

I dont know any other piston. Only Pro-X, I dont know if you have those in the USA. But they are not better than Wiseco, cause Wiseco can handle 1000 feet more than Pro-X and more of that stuff

changing to a wiseco piston in your blaster if nothing is wrong with the one you have is just throwing money away, it will not add any power, you only need to put a new piston in if your cylinder is worn and needs bored.
