what mm carb gives you more performance and does cutting the head give a lot of more power and if i cut the head do i have to use race gas. can someone explain the hole cutting the head procees?

cutting the head does not give you power, it increases compression wen you get a port the port lowers the compression so the head milled brings the compression back up, i believe if you dont go past 30 thenths of cutting the head your good to run pump gas but if you cut the head too much you have to run race gas, and for the carb it matters what mods you have inorder to get the best mm

Milling the head, or cutting as you put it, does increase power output, by increasing compression, when you take away from the amount of volume you are compressing and still putting in the same amount or air/fuel mix there is less space for the gases to compress and that mix gets squeezed harder, higher compression means the fuel can burn with better combustion which will force the piston down that much harder and faster, its kinda hard to explain, and I'm not real good at explinations, but yes milling the head reguardless of porting will add power throughout the entire powerband of the engine.

other than milling the head what pther performance mods can i add? without having to use race gas?

`well i dont know what kinda of money your looking to spend but here is a list
internal motor wise 240 big bore port and polish mill the head (not to much or you will have to run race gas) 3mm stroker crank or Long rod
bolt on pb air box graydon pipe and slincer 30mm carb with ut 240 big bore 35mm carb with 240 big bore v-force delta reed cage and reeds
that s about all i can think of
