hey, i just bought and installed my toomey b1 kit, and the uni air filter. if i take the airbox lid off will i have to rejet? (right now the jet that came with the toomey kit is in) also how much quicker does the filer get dirty with the lid off ? thanks alot!

yea you can take it off. you will get a gain in power too.

it will get a little mroe dirtier but get a outerweard or sumthing but since ur using a foam filter its easy to just clean it

ya I bought the toomey too and it came with those air box lid vents so i thought it was pretty cool if i had those on. but i drill the holes 1 1/4 inch and they were supposed to be 1 inch. so i just took the whole lid off. I think it runs better, you have to clean the filter more.

i took my air box lid off with my K&N and it sounds cool when you have the seat off and its running

i got a b-1 kit too and i took if the lid and it ran alot better but i still needed to take it to get it rejeted
