Rad vavles are designed to increase the velocity by means of small cross patterned ports within the reed cage, they work good with the stock porting but are very restrictive if the cylinder has been opened up for performance porting, the v-force is a higher flowing reed valve that works good for ported cylinders, but is limited to what it can do on a basically stock ported cylinder.

i heard with some rad valves you have to grind away at ur intake just to get them to fit. i'd never touch my engine with a grinder i'd let that up to someone who knows what their doin. and i'd go with v-force all the way. never heard ne thing bad about them and proly never will. i also heard getting a stock cr125 reed cage works good to because they have a 6 pedal design and fit the blaster.

Well guys I just wouldnt recommend a V-Force for a ported motor.. Does V-Force flow well? YES, they do.. But fact of the matter is is that the quality of the reeds themselfs are chit and they fray/break very easily and quickly on a ported motor. When I used to run V Force on my first Hollywood Dirt ported stock bore stroker motor I never got more than 15 hours of run time on those damn reeds and at 50 bucks a pop for the replacements thats not good.. Another down fall to the V-Force reeds is the fact that the unit is made out of plastic which compromises the stability of the whole unit.. My V-Force cage, in the end, destroyed my HDP motor because two of the little screws that hold the reed peddles on came right out of the cage lock tite and all and got sucked into my cylinder badly damaging the sleeve and once they made their way to the top of the piston they just smashed right into the top of the piston which in turn caused the piston to slam those screws into the top of the head destroying the entire squish of the head beyond repair lol.. I have been doing a lot of research since then on reed valves and the best ive found are the G3s.. I just ordered a set of them for my upcoming Hollywood Dirt motor and the craftsmanship on these reeds blows the V-Force right out of the water lol.. In fact, they make the V Force look like a cheap plastic toy.. And the best part about it is that they flow MUCH better than V-Force on any other reed valve on the market today and they have the flow charts to prove it.. And if you wondering about price they cost the same as V Force at 125 bucks... If you guys want to see pics of them here is a link to Hollywood Dirts message board where I made a post on this product and put up a bunch of pics of the G3 reed valve.. I even put up pics of the G3s sitting right next to my old V Force unit so that people could see the difference in the construction..
