hey, i recently trashed my brand new motor due to sand (and pleny of it) getting into my engine.  one of the district tracks is really sandy and its close, so ill be doing a lot of racing there. i need a good way to stop all this sand from getting in my airbox. i was running a homeade lid with the front open, and 5 1" holes in the top. my filter wasnt properly oiled either  . will one of PB's aluminum airbox's help prevent crap from getting in my airbox? and looking at it im assured it is great for increasing airflow, right? any info would greatly help! |

it also uses a bigger air filter... i think. and mounts better than the stock one. with the stocker you dont always know its sealed all the way around the bottom.

yeah, thats true. i always hated seeing where it meets the rubber boot there. what filter does it use? 400ex?

im pretty sure a 250r one fill fit the project blaster one uses a 300ex filter or any in filter you can use it comes with a white brothers filter |

actually it's not a 300ex rayne (found that out a while back), i don't think that one fits. It's just one that they have that's the right size, not even sure what quad it's for but it works for our box so we use it
