Anybody in here have a liquid cooled blaster? Im planning to do it to mine. Cooler= more hp. I can get the liquid cooled head real cheap.

just a liquid cooled head wont do anything for HP. its the cylinder that needs to be water cooled. but to do that you need, a DT 200 cylinder and head, water pump, radiater and i beleive some modifcations to the tranny also.. Rick at macdizzy did it he has some pics on his site.

Yes it will do something with hp. I didnt say it would add hp. It will cool down your engine so you dont LOSE so much hp.

Just the head won't do anything but act as a heat sink. You need the water pump to move the water around, and cooling the head and not the rest of the cylinder is asking for disaster. The head won't expand as the cylinder expands with heat causing problems with gaskets and tolerances. Bad idea

Yeah your right. Im getting the water pump and radiator and all the other parts I need to convert it to liquid cooled.
