Im serious. I topped out in a field, while my friend was driving his car on a highway. If you dont want to believe me, then fine. Maybe your just jealous.  My mods are: 1. shaved head 2. stage 2 porting, exhaust porting 3. bored 4. wiseco piston & rings 5. fmf pipe 6.34mm carb 7.reeds 8.reed spacers 9. k&n filter 10.14 tooth,40 tooth sprockets 11.amp research link and lots of other mods and I took alot of things off to make my quad lighter |

I just went to that website. Im not sure how much my rpms are, but its higher than 8500. If you type in a higher rpm, the top speed is higher. Plus, that calculation is inaccurate because it doesnt factor in the weight of the blaster and the weight of your body. My blaster is lighter than a stock blaster. It also looks to me that they are talking about the new blaster, which have a different weight. Weight has a large factor on speed and therefore your assumptions about my blaster not going 65 mph is wrong. You werent there to calculate my speed, so believe what you want.

yes it is accurate. you actually need to subtract about 3mph because of, rider weight, wind resicstance, terrain, how well the engine is running(jetting performacne wise) and machine weight. other than that it is accurate the gear ratios came straight from the manual.  a stock blaster RED LINES at about 8400-8500rpm and makes the most power around 7800-8200. yours probabaly makes the most power around 8400-8500 and redlines around MAYBE 8700-8800rpm. if you want to find your top speed you need a GPS, running along side a car is not accurate at all. |

why would you waist money on a gps when you can buy more stuff for the quad with money ok, im not telling you to go buy a GPS, im telling you that your blasters DO NOT go 65mph with 18'' tires and 14T sprockets. what i am saying is if you REALLY want to know how fast it goes use a GPS. |
