Wel we just installed the toomey pipe kit. it sounds great and has awsome bottom end power. we had the stock airbox on without the univents and it ran slow, but after we drilled the holes, man it screamed. if there is any problems you have had or heard of regarding the B-1 kit please tell me about them. thanks.  |

i haven't really heard any problems... if you run one of the PB airboxes it will really wake it up!

Did you rejet after all that?
Sounds like when you installed the pipe (and if you also put larger jets in) that it was running slow due to the lack of air intake. Try removing your entire lid, that will allow and even great volume of air to enter the motor...Check your jetting after doin that too - plug chop.

thanks yall, we did put in larger jetting, we ran it without the airbox lid and it flyed. then we put the airbox on and it went slow, so then we drilled 12, 1 inch holes and popped the unifilters in them, then it ran just like it did without the airbox lid.
how do those pb airboxes work? they look sweet. ;D

the pipes gave a huge difference. we pulled 4th and 5th gear wheelies. the bottom end is awsome!!! it said it gives 20 to 25 percent power increase on the site.

have you seen the pb airboxes yet? they open up the flow so more air gets through quicker, giving better response and power, especially with an aftermarket pipe like the Toomey. I know that there's a few people on here that have them... talk to Rayne, he was one of the first racers to get one.
