i have some questions that i hope you guys can answer for me
i have a 1997 blaster which is 5 speed and i feel like im wasting power because i constantly try to upshift when in 5th and forget i only have 5 gears
so what would be required for me to convert to 6 speed please try and be as thourough as possible in your answer

All Blasters were made 6 speeds so if yours only has 5 then something is wrong.

Thats strange maybe you shift really fast sometimes and you think its 5 gears.

damn i feel stupid now
i dont know where i got the idea it was 5 gears
i need to go out and ride it and count because i really think i only have 5 maybe i have a problem
on the subject does anyone know a website or place that does regearing for blaster transmissions?
the guy i bought it from used it on the track and i think he shortened the gears significiantly because my first 3 gears are so short i can barley get to wide open throttle before i need to shift
