I may be wrong but you said that you could just put octane boost into 92-octane gas and it would work for the national kit. Octane boost will not raise the stock octane of gas to that large of a degree. It may say that is will raise as much as 3 or 5 pts. But that actually means .30 or .50 points, which would make 92 octane into like 92.50 or so. I am unsure that I am totally right (about the figures) but I know that it will not raise it that a full 12 points because of a little bottle of octane boost, it will however raise a fraction of that and will help but not the extent that is needed to reach 104 octane. If I am totally wrong and it will raise it by that much then I will start to do so.

No, adding booster will not raise the octane level. After checking, it would cost you a shitload of money to have race gas shipped to your house. If we didn't have to ship it, it wouldn't be too bad, but it's better to just find a place close to you that sells it.

Well, depending on the modifications done to your motor, you cannot run just a 92 or 93 octane fuel. If you have a full race port and polish, you'll need to run 103, 104 octane. But if you've just bored your cylinder a little, then I'd say 93 octane would be just dandy. lol. Brandon

I also want the motor mod . But nowhere around me sell the fuel. What does the higher octane fuel do?

Just go to VP fuels website and find out where your local distributor is and go there for fuel.
