I have a 2002 Blaster w/ A fmf sst pipe and silencer, power reed , reed spacers, re-jetted, k+n air filter and an outerwears on it. It has plenty of top end but if I drag a stock blaster in a short drag it beats me. And it doesnt hill climb good at all. Do you know what i can buy to get more bottom end?

The Diamond Racing National Cylinder will give it the most bottom end if you use a stock carb on it. It is $525. Also.. getting a stroker kit or long rod kit for $350 each will also add a lot of bottom end. All of these products are in our Products section.

If I would send you my engine to get the Diamond Racing National Clilinder what do you do? And if I get that done will it help if I put 35 m.m. Racing Carb on with the Diamond Kit?

If you send us the engine, the whold diamond kit will be installed. It includes race port and polish, decking the head, and increasing the compression. You also get an advanced timing key and must run at least 104 octane race gas because this thing pumps out that much hp. If you put a 35mm carb on it, it will smooth out the power and give it more top end. If you leave the stock carb on it, it will give it extreme bottom end power. (example: hit the gas and it will come up in every gear).

WOW that is some stomping power. What do you reccomend for motocross. Leving on the stocker or putting a diffrent one on? And arent you racing today? And also I was looking in my VP racing brochure and when I was looking at the applications for Quads none of them were 104 octane or above. Where do or can I buy this stuff if I get this motorwork done? And do you have this done to your Blaster? If so do you have the 35mm or the stock carb on?

VP sells the gas, call them. We've gotten it before. I use a 35mm carb on mine. The Diamond Racing Cylinder is only for serious racers. If you're a backyard rider, I wouldn't recommend it, I would recommend a trail port for $275.

I go fast trail riding, go to mx and atv parks, and next year im racing. Why wouldent you reccomend it for a backyard rider if so. Could it hurt the engine if you are?? Would you reccomend it to me?

because it has to be run wide open a lot. It's not a cylinder you can just put around on. If you ride hard a lot, then it would be fine.

Then yes, as long as you dont bog it a lot and run the right gas, it should be fine. And later when you get into racing, you can upgrade to a larger carb, etc.

you know....i tried to run the jet that FMF told me to run with my pipe and i had no bottom end, had alot of top end but for some reason it just sucked for climbing hills or pulling wheelies....try rejetting....its easy, cheap, and it may work.
