Hey I bought a FMF exhaust system. The pipe only has one clip on it for the spring to hold it on place. I was wondering if any of you who have it only have one spring holding it on.

my dg had one and i used 2 springs

The other part of the spring goes onto the motor by the flange so it like sits on there

My buddies had two hooks on the actual exhaust pipe. One on each side. My FMF only had one right in the middle top of the pipe. What I want to know if that is all you other guys are doing with that exhaust.

soem pipes have 2, some have 1. its not uncommen to only have one.
my LRD has 1.

one spring is ok, but if you have a chance (if it's made to have 2 springs), you may want to eventually get another one. You can get the springs at any hardware store.

Yeah That is what I did. I bought springs at lowes but the angle the stud is I can't get the sping to hook to the exhaust and the little flang.

ive never had fmf but im pretty sher it should have 2 just like my dg it was the same with the one hook on the pipe and the other by the motor it came with 2 so i put them both on.... but my phantom only has one too

Yeah thanks guys. The spring I got is super tight. I beleive it will be fine with just one spring. I was just wondering what you all thought. Thanks.
