I don't think it is nessecary. It is nice just having to mix the oil and then just filling up the tank. But you don't have to buy the kit. A buddy of mine used some jb weld and blocked it off. It is alot cheper than buying the thirty dollar block off kit.

Yamaha only have a 6 month warranty so after that its basically fuck off

oh i didnt know that the warrenty was only 6 months..but i still dont think that it would mix wrong out of nowere if its doing it fine

well you kinda have you info mixed... the injector mixes at 24:1 i ahve hed form many people and 32:1 i have herd, but it is always mixing th same amount, idle, 8000 rpms ect, always the same, the injector only fails because of user fault, if it is not proporly maintained it will fail and break, the gear will shatter or somthing else will happen, if you get an aftermarket carb, you will need your injector off ect, but you can do it for free, PM me or YFSRIDER, he gave me the orig info and i edited and made a post on BHQ about it and virtical limits...

i have a vitos block off i mix maxima at 42:1 and or klotz at 46:1
