i recently heard that in 2006 all 2-strokes will be banned in a clean air act. i hope not i will not have the money to get a new quad. what is the world coming to no 2-strokes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well...i heard different...i heard they just arent making anymore
they cant just say you cant ride them anymore...unless of course theyre going to pay for a new 4 stroke quad for me
like 3 wheelers they couldnt get rid of them they just quit making them

Yea exactly wat blackBlaster said.. they are gonna ban 2 strokes and if u havent noticed its already starting... like there are NO 2 stroke quads anymore. blaster and banshee.. but if u have a 2 stroke they wont take it away there just stopping the prouduction of 2 stroke stuff.. like even dirtbikes.. they have all these sik 4 bangers out and slowly 2 strokes are gonna fade away.. it sucks but its tru..

I think that's one of those rules that nobody is even going to care about... but we'll see if it happens.
my opinion, that law BLOWS! here's why...
A car puts out 14 times as much pollution as a 2-stroke bike/quad engine. Now how many people buy 2-stroke bikes compared to the number who buy cars a year? See what I mean? stupid law...

That is the truth kurt but you have to look at something else, having a bike is a luxury. Plus all those idiots out there who get killed on a atv out there for goofing around doesnt help our case either sooner or later they will ban atvs alltogether.

they arent going to just ban them all together...look at 3 wheelers and how many injuryies/deaths there were..what are they gonna do with all the atvs after they ban them????they cant just take them away

aw hell we got somemany people who have never rode a fourwheeler that hate them cause of all the storys of kids dieing from them. The goverment will do pretty much nething to make them look good and their is alot of people out their that would love to see atvs outlawed. I just don't see them banning ATVs all together, that's just outrageous. Can anybody find any recent articles on this subject explaining what is really said to happen? |

its so gay y they gotta bann 2 stroke. and yea diesel gives off more pollution but the new ones i think dont give as much but do still a lot of pollution
