im gettin ready to buy a new top end from a guy i know and it has one bore left on it if i would have it bored it would take it to a p9 piston so i was thinkin just have the cylnder bore for a 240 sleave the reason i was thinking this is cuz beong a p9 i has no bores left and i dont think the motor will last that long so i i juss think it would be better to run a 240 in it right away what you think bout?
thanks for your help

Well it might be a waste of money to put a 240 kit in it if the motor is already old and has its wears

.090 over bore, which is the largest over bore size you can get. other than a 240. if it is a stock sleeve it is very risky because the stock sleeve is tapered, and since it is so thin that it can and most likly will crack. ruining your new top end. you would probably be best off with a new wesico sleeve. or you could get the 240 sleeve, but that woudl be dumb, because one, it cost more. two, it only adds maybe 1 HP, three you have to use a big bore piston, whoch most likly costs more. four, you only have, i think 4 bores with a 240 sleeve.
