nah K&n is not really good for racing i would go with a foam filter like twin air or UNI

whould a k&n be good for just kruzing around and a bit of track riding and gravilpit riding?or should i get a uni?

k and n are the best , they give abit more performace and make nice sound

it dosent really matter you wont really notice a big power difference with what filter you have just make sure you jet it good so you take advantage of all the gains
