ONLY 4 MPH SLOWER THAN BLASTER !!!! I CAN DO DOUBLES WITH MINE AND IM 11 AND ITS PRETTY MUCH STOCK !!! SO I DONT KNOW WAT UR TALKIN ABOUT IT SLOW    250 ex are ok quads man... my friend has one... and he tears the shit out of it... he climbs hills and flips it back down and then jumps some small gaps.... but man i smoke him on my blaster..... ive riddin his... i dont like it.... 1 its autonatic soo u dont get to clutch it around corners and stuff and espeacially for hills.... they suck for hills..... and there shaft... and if that goes out u might as well part it out on ebay.... man u should definatly switch to a blaster or somthin bigger that has chain..... and this kid that has the 250ex actually tried telling me shaft was better than chain lol |

dude...... top speed is only 4 mph less.. SO!!!! try keeping up with one on the trails ;D i have a blaster and i smoke 250 exs and ride with banshees and 250 bikes in the trails.... i should know man thats all we have here in IL.... |

when i went to get the 250 last summer, i saw a black and red blaster that i really liked, but the guy talked me out of it cuz yamaha's financing rates are outragious.. then i asked about a300 and he said i'd be happier with a shaft drive cuz then i wouldnt have to worry about oiling, and tightening the chain. so basically the low maintenence is what sold me. im wanting to buy a '96 blaster off a buddy, i doubt my mom will let me though cuz im still payin for the 250

how about body parts i.e. plastics possibly, air scoops, maybe an axle and spacers...that sorta stuff, dont worry about engine crap, cuz even with a ton of engine mods, ppl will still call the 250ex slow (which i agree with them lol) at least some air scoops? lol |
