Team VCA racer Billy Cramer, #727, used to run the CFM airbox, but luckily switched to one of our PB boxes. We tested the two boxes together and noticed many differences.
Just in case any bhq members get on here and read this, I AM NOT BASHING CFM. This was a comparrison between the boxes.
The CFM box has bends that are close to 90 degree angles to make it clear the shock, this causes turbulence. We made ours basically a straight shot to the carb, so the air flow is better. We also used 3" pipe, unlike the CFM. The PB ones is held on using the frame, plastic, and carb. The CFM is held on using bolts going into the airbox. Overtime, Billy broke these mounts off because the CFM box hit his chain when he bottomed out, leaving deep gashes in the box. The CFM box also hit on his rear shock, bending the tubing in. We also used a larger air filter and throw in the Outerwears cover for free.
there's some info and differences if anybody wants to know.

And the CFM is really a lot of money to spend compared with the packet you get when buying a VCA air box.
