I run pump gas in my blaster and I was wondering what u think the lowest u could go with a stock blaster and one with sum mods in it cuz I usually run 93 octane but in sum places, the highest I can find is 91 octane so tell me what u think. I have a stock engine now buty I plan on porting it and shaving the head mildly so tell me how low I can go with octane.

what about with mods like porting and cutting the head? well it depends what you motor is like set up to run you can have them ported and stuff for 110 or you can have them for 93

Thats cool but I here that power booster only raises it less than 1 octane.

octane booster does not work on small engines like the blaster. when they say it rasies 7-8, it is by points. so if they says it rasies 7 points, that would make 93 octane gas 93.7 octane.
for the best performnace and protection agasint detonation you should use 91-94 octane. you can cut .035 off the head and still safly run pump gas.(91-94 octane) you can go more if you have the head rechambered.

Can I put my$.02 in im just new to this site but know a little about octain. It dose not make power but if it is tooooo low for your compresion it sure will let you motor beat its self up. The higher the octain the more heat and presure it takes to light it on fire. If your motor dose not have high enough comp. then it will take longer to light your fire and you will acutualy loosse power .
