To repeat again, 400 ex rear is fuckin bad ass, and banshee fronts are a deff improvment. I got the shee's and the 400ex off ebay for 110 bucks for both, if you have the cash for elkas or works go for it but if you are like me, poor go for the shee/400ex. IMO

A 400ex rear shock doesn't just bolt right on. The bottom mount of the shock needs to be drilled out, and you need to make a new bushing thing for the top mount. I feel like it's a little on the stiff side, for a non jumper like me, and I've already adjusted it to all the way soft. But I still feel that it's an improvement over stock for sure! And yes you do have to trim off some plastic off the airbox. It is not a big deal, as long as you got something to cut plastic with. I wouldn't waste money on banshee fronts. Try and get some works.

thats wat im gettn, 400ex rear and works front. but rayne, why do shees suck? Shee's don't suck, its all relative to the price. If you get shee's for 50 bucks and its a good improvment, you pay 1100 bucks for elkas and you can fall out of the sky and land smooth, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!

i dont know what to say but i have the same problem with my stock shocks, i bottom out on most jumps it depeneds on how i land it, i find that if i land with the back tires just a few inches before the front everything is smoother, but i was thinkin that i shoudl adjust my shocks for my weight, but if there are cheap shocks around somewhere i would be interested. ?/ , what about banshee shocks would they work properly ont he blaster, i also have a low budget right now cause i jstu bought my quad and parts for it, but shocks are important for me, i am tired of bottoming out, my qua dis kickin my ass when i do that yea its just like dirt jumping on your bike, you wanna land a lil back unless it is a hard landing
