Elkas are all-around the best for the Blaster but if you just want shocks that are a little better then stock and are cheap you should check out WORKs shocks.

On my blaster i am running YFZ 450 shocks all the way arond and they work great and evern better is that they r cheaper than elka's and they work just as good!!!!

With the YFZs wouldnt you need to get bigger A Arms or could you use stock?

And forget bout the a-arm. Just save the time, effort and $$ for repair bills and the shocks and get some aftermarket a-arms and shocks for same price or less inclueing hospital bills. When I saw this topic i almost flipped the &^%$ out..I guess taking away my old sig made people think they will fit. I dont know why anyone would want them. Im not sure whats gonna break first the ball joints from the shocks or the ball joints cause the angle the a-arm being longer.  |

They will not fit. With out the Shock mount on the a-arm being lowered or the upper mount on the frame being raised. If you put them on any a-arm with stock mounts, your busting balljoints. I have heard of a guy putting z400 lower a-arm's and they bolt up. And the tire is on a very slight angle. But i dont know if he eneded up doing it or not. But its a waste because the price of yfz shocks is close to the price of a pair of works, elka, pep's or axis, which are better. Also, How did you get the rear shock on. You really need to change that angle, the yfz rear shock is 18" long and a blaster shock is 15.

I've raced against a blaster that has YFZ front shocks, and I talked to the kid in the pits and he said they work awesome. They seemed to bolt up fine, and he hasn't busted any balljoints yet, so I dunno. My elka fronts and tcs rear work fuckin sweet for me.  |

he prolly had a-arms made for them. Or hes going to have a rude awankening. I've argued with may people over yfz shocks and in the end evey signle person who tried or knew someone who tried. Shatter the ball joints on a jump.

works are good for the price but elkas are better but theyre more money, i dont know if they make em for blasters ( im sure they do ) but tcs is one of the best right now

There is also shocks that are the same as and better then elka. I hate how you guys make it seem like elka is the greatest known to man. PEP, AXIS, TCS and MOTOWAZ(no longer in bussiness). Thoes are awsome. But have fun it takes for ever to get a shock because they take their time. and their shocks start around 800 and go well over 1000$. Elka ends at 1000. Motowaz start in the 1000$ range but it got burnt down in the cali fires.
