Vitos Piston

I was wondering if anyone was running the forged super stock piston in their bike? Also was wondering how it runs with it and have you had any promblems with it?Also if you got the kit how do the gaskets hold up?

i am i have a forged in my 240 vitos kit it is stronger than the cast by 5x but u will just need to warm up your bike longer for the rings to expande for the forged but other than that they are great really strong ive had mine for about 3 months so far and it looks brand new i highly recommend them (vitos is 20 min away from my house i hyave a vitos complete motor from bottom up vitos all the way if someone has a problem to bad for you in my opinoin)

i dunno much about vitos but i have heard good things and bad things bout vitos

The superstock pistons are wiseco pistons that have been ported by vitos. youll get likea 3hp gain.

i think they are ok if they're built right, but i think the quality of the work verries too much. and i really doubt that it will give u 3 hp, show me the dino....

Alright, one you will notice a different with the vitos piston because its ported and will uncover the exhaust port a little more..You CANNOT run this piston with a port job though, unless the porting is setup to run with that exact piston..If you run that piston and porting at the same time you'll have problems..

That piston works good with the 240kit you have because your 240 kit is bairly ported any, thats why it works good..But if you ever get your motor ported properly you'll will have to ditch that piston.

That piston works good with the 240kit you have because your 240 kit is bairly ported any, thats why it works good..But if you ever get your motor ported properly you'll will have to ditch that piston.

he has hetrick porting on the 240 lol

You can set up the porting to run with the pistons though.

exatcly we had vitos mod the exaust port on the top of the piston to match the minor port work we got from them
