only bore your stock cylinder to the needed bore. You will NOT get horsepower from borning your stock cylinder all the way or any. Only bore it to the next needed size to get rid of the deep scratch/flaws or if its out of round. Let your local shop look at it.

If boring does not help than why does the 240 kit work well, just so you know, a "240" kit is a ( 72mm) cylinder, the stock is (66mm) which a .040ths over bore will make it a (67mm) boree instead of a (72mm) like the "240" kit which your stock cylinder has to be pressed out and room made for the "240" sleeve which then has to be pressed in. now roll your eyes at yourself.  |
