well here is the chance for all of you hollywood suck ups to put an end to all of this bickering. the names posted earlier have given us something to see and run, they have passed the test. i urge you to coax the good dr.dirt to turn his best stuff over to see if it can run with these guys. we have been down this road before and still haven't had the challenge accepted. no, i can't compare cp port work to hwd, only because hwd must be afraid to send us something. craig at cp customs got fed up with all the bs and gave us a cylinder and head (at a special price ) to prove his work. it is very impressive, that's why it's posted and endorsed. again, you can pm me to work something out, if your up to it. thanks, pittboss45 so just becasue some backyard porter that is in need of work, sends you his porting for you to test out, HWD should send you a 400.00 ported cylinder and head for you also to 'try out'. just to say that one or the other is the best over an internet forum? wtf is that going to prove wait im a regular joe schmoe like you,, i think cp should send me a ported cylinder and head, so i can test it out against my porting, and that way i can tell everyone else on the internet what i think about it! because he has nothing else better to do but give away porting at a special price for someone to put to the test against others.. who are you, that makes you think a respected shop like HWD should just send you a ported cylinder and head, to pass a test so that in your eyes it is worthy enough to even talk about. come on!

quadracer34, you need to realize that i'm in no way a backyard porter. i'm growing tired of all of you hwd trail riders that think you have the greatest thing since sliced bread. many times the subject of who races with this work has been asked and nobody admits to running it. i guess this separates the racers that pound their machines weekly from those that can't .
ask for a free $400.00 port job? never. i was willing to supply some parts. i must give the real builders some credit, diamond, cp customs, snyder ,gibson and some others for showing that THEY have a set off balls. they let their work speak for themselves. these guys have respectable businesses, they want their product tested by others, against others. they don't rely on the regular joe schmo to pass the word they have what they think is the best without owning more than one set up.
the facts are that diamond has many national championships in both the 2 & 4 stroke classes. snyder & gibson have a great team of racers that just beat the hell out of their bikes week in and week out. cp customs donated most of the work that was sent to me, to compare, to prove to himself that he has what it takes to run with the leaders, and guess what, it does.
these guys get recomendations from the people that put their stuff to the test every week on the race track. sure they might not win each and every time their out there, but the up and comings are watching and making mental notes of how they want their future bikes to be.
you wanna know what else shows respect? a few weeks ago on e-bay, a motor built by diamond racing that had a whole season of racing on it sold for $520.00. at the same time, a hollywood pd3 motor that hadn't had two tanks of gas run thru it couldn't sell because the highest bid was only $210.00..FACT!
companies, magazines & friends put things through "the test, or the shootout" take it for what it's worth. not everyone will agree with the outcome, flaws show up on all things, nothing is perfect.
sooner or later i'll have a hwd motor to put it thru its paces, & who knows, i might like it. i'll keep you posted.
untill then, keep the comments coming.
