well the guy at dirt road cycles is paying for it for me and i ordered every thing the bottle it's self the hose steel braded, and the manifold, so when i get it on the ill tell you how it does in inprovement  Why are they paying for your boost bottle? |

I heard not to drill a hole at the top of the rubber intake mainfold or else it will crack.(just a suggestion)

It wont crack. My friend did it and it didnt crack. The only thing with drilling a hole at the top of the rubber manifold is you will have to connect a rubber hose from there to the boost bottle and make sure you seal it. My friend tried sealing it with silicone and every time the engine would get hot....it would melt the silicone right off and he would have an air leak. My advise is to buy the manifolds that are used for the boost bottles.

the reason it gives better throttle reponse is because when the slide in the carb shuts there is a preasure that builds up and the boost bottle fills up with it and when you get back on the throttle it's released and thats how you get the better throttle response so i would get on if thats what your after
